An avatar should just be whatever. I changed mine a couple times many years ago but quickly just felt that it doesn't really matter. What DO matter is that you stick to one you have just to get simple recognition in the long run sort of speak.

Stick to what you have, regardless. It's more important you have good content behind the avatar.

Your avi should be whatever you feel like... Which may reflect on personality or the art one draws... Or it could be a dancing purple antennae'd amoeba. *Shrug* To each is their own. .__.

should be what ever you want it to be, but in found the personality reflection ID is often the most interesting.

Both! But I would say personality just a little bit more, as that can have a great effect on how you read comments from them etc. I feel as if I'm talking to what's in the avatar sometimes
