This poll is difficult as I don't think either of them are fully plausible (especially being a fan of both). From a more analytical perspective, I'd say the technology and science in Star Trek with the social and political systems of Star Wars. Think of it like the logic of Star Trek, but the grittiness & dirtiness of Star Wars.
I voted Star Trek, less for the societal aspect and more for the technological aspect...I dunno how, but it seems like the technology they use (at least in the recent versions) would follow more after the design trends of what we see today than Star Wars might. I really don't see the ugly, blocky, gray/brown spaceships of Star Wars in our future, somehow. (That's not to say I'm not a fan of Star Wars more than Star Trek, though. xD)
Star Trek of those two, but to be honest, I'm a tiny bit biased towards going with a third option, Stargate. Might be because you actually see everything from where we are now to when we're the dominant race in multiple galaxies. Then again, the premise is a bit unlikely.
I would actually prefer a future like Star Trek. But I just can't see the human race giving up greed and lust for power, cruelty, etc, and becoming a one world nation devoted to the principal that we are only as strong as the weakest among us. That we should strive to do better for the sake of doing better. Sorry I just don't see it happening.
Here's hoping a world more like Star Trek, where science, logic, and reason is the center of humanity... and people use technology to help in their daily lives... there's already many Trek tech in rudimentary form in existence today... yours truly hopes so anyway... but as Q said, "Knowing humans as thou dost, Captain, wouldst thou be captured helpless by them?"
choice 3 should have been Idiocracy. I don't have a lot of faith about where this world is heading. People are getting dumber, more violent, and less humane with each passing year. I chose star wars though because it is darker and far less utopian than star trek.
