you are not using too much text, it is good to have info on great works of art such as yours.

Overall nice, but I think you're using way too much text to make it look Science Fiction look a like... I takes the attention away from the planet, which is fantastic work.

love the starfield man! and the rings are amazing! but for me the planet is a little to plain.. dunno if its just me but i can't see any texture at all.

Oh gosh man, you have more of these! Big project, I can only wonder how much work has been involved in these pics.

Actually, I don't like the deviation, I love it. I was always fond of the solar system, and space entirely. This to me is one of the greatest wallpapers I've ever seen. However, 'tis sad that I had to see Jark's favorites in order to finally see this image. All of the wallpapers are in his favorites...and they are amazing works of art. Great job.

omg i hate dumb people, especially the moron who commented above who says "get rid of the text"

being that it's scientific and supposed to be informative, it should have text. Omg people like that needs to be squashed.

But, anyways, great work on this one, the file is smaller, which is good, but i still only waited a few minutes, and not much into the picture. O_o? im only human.

Still, when i am being a little less impatient, ill definitely save the file, which would save me the trouble of reloading it. Anyways. Great.

Excellent halo on the planet it just looks so very good combined with a nice set of orbiting rings. It kind of feels like the suns about to peek out from under the planet. :) (Smile)

I had to comment on this because Uranus is my favorite planet. Also one fact that should have been included about Uranus is that the fact it was orginally named Herschel and not Uranus. It was latered changed to Uranus by the scientist William Herschel. Im obsessed with this planet and I think it's the best out of all planets you made. Awesome work and I hope you continue to make more space art like this. Peace.

OMFG! This one I love! Wow!

And I didn't even know about all the moons, jeezus .. Live and learn.. ;) (Wink)

I'm begging you to submit this one without all the stats! PLEASE!! :D (Big Grin)
jes-x Featured By Owner Jan 26, 2003
uranrus was the father of the olympian gods? hmm maybe they in secret named it after shakespear; symbolising the moons as his kids (and again sybolising that when a writer makes up a new character, he gives it life)

just something to think about...
jes-x Featured By Owner Jan 26, 2003
on another comment: take a look at the names of the moons! notice a patern?

I'll give you the answer: Shakespearian Characters

being a big fan of shakespear (I have all his records!!!!) I know most of the names...
jes-x Featured By Owner Jan 26, 2003

I love this series, fantastic art. I would love to see jupiter's galilean moons done in a series like this.
rougeux Featured By Owner Jan 25, 2003  Hobbyist Digital Artist
See? Not only is this fantastic art, it's educational since I didn't know Uranus had so many moons. Very smooth planet and the rings are done very well again.
