Vue Infinite - Experimental render, this is another frame of an animated short i am working on.

With all the quality settings set to the absolute maximum this took a pretty humble 3.0ghz P4 with 2gb of RAM approx 97 Hours to render.

i looked at it quickly then blinked and looked again and i saw analyzing the light on the cliff and realized that it could actually be computerized, then i looked for a reflection from the camera in the water or the boat or something and then realized it actually is computer generated lol. Very nice work, it looks very fantastic, im hoping that there is some way ill get to see the short when it is a finished product. For the Starcraft2 game video they released a couple years ago each rendered frame was a few gigs big (i think) and each frame took the super computer at a california college something like 2 minutes to calculate. Incredible stuff computer art....
