@02:57Beautiful. It looks realistic, wonderful and so peaceful. The Music fits perfectly into this calm, peaceful animation. I felt like i was in trance while watching it.

@02:53Are these the max renders of your animations or did you shrink the file for upload?

Pale Blue Dot - Final Render.

Animated in 3dsMax, post processing in Photoshop, textures courtesy NASA Visible Earth. Music by Kevin Mcleod.

Created as part of a test HD 1080p project, basically this was just a technical exercise to see if i can create and manage larger files for HD output.

Compressed down from 11.5GB (4,500 Frames) to roughly 150MB, so a HUGE amount of actual detail is unfortunatley lost, though i may still eventually share the original 1080p at some point in the future.

Anyway, I had great fun making this, I hope you enjoy the show.

@02:57Great job, will have to keep an eye out for a larger version if you´re releasing it at some poing, video-stuff on DA is a real genocide for details. And from the looks of those original frames, there´s plenty of those. :)

Keep it up. :painter:

@02:57Hehe yep there are a lot of frames, in fact i was thinking if there is an easy way for me to make al 4500 of them available at full quality, only problem will be all the hard drive space they take up. :(

@02:57Heh, yeah, would take a huge chunk of harddrive-space and a mighty powerful server to spread all the data around. Youtube might be a possibility for sharing a HD-version rip, not the real thing of course but much closer to the original than anything one can host here in DA.

@02:57youtube doesn't display HD in reality.
I suppose a way around it is to create the HD version in lossless quality, and then just store a master copy on a DVD or pen drive.
If you use the H.264 codec at 90% you keep a lot of the quality.
Then to distribute it just provide a download link with and streaming videos you submit to the web.
