Pale Blue Dot - Final Render.

Animated in 3dsMax, post processing in Photoshop, textures courtesy NASA Visible Earth. Music by Kevin Mcleod.

Created as part of a test HD 1080p project, basically this was just a technical exercise to see if i can create and manage larger files for HD output.

Compressed down from 11.5GB (4,500 Frames) to roughly 150MB, so a HUGE amount of actual detail is unfortunatley lost, though i may still eventually share the original 1080p at some point in the future.

Anyway, I had great fun making this, I hope you enjoy the show.

@02:57this is really wonderful and looks greatly realistic, but only the clouds are just a mess. they look perfect but are most times really misplaced. i think probably its only me who thinks so because i study geogrpahy and know some things about global circulation and things like that, and so i can say there will never be such a great cloud-pattern over north-east to central africa e.g. . but as you said it was just a test about software its really ok

Nice video tho too bad deviantart rapes the quality so much. I was thinking submitting something similiar but it seems the videos are restricted to certain users ~_~
