That slight blur effect really adds to the destructive feel, makes it seem more titanic and intense. Nice work.

Overall, tremendous work, there is a real feel for the power of this explosion.

The colouring is very appropriate, and looks almost like a star going supernova. The intense flare jetting from the back really gives a sense that the thing is going supernova in all direction.

You work on the star field, especially to the left of the body is excellent. There is real clarity there.

Although the body itself is slightly blurred, it gives a feeling of movement, and the speed of the explosion.

It must have been great fun putting this together.

oh my holy f*cking lord this is crazy cool
I love your attention to detail. . .I would like to see a version that's higher in bumpmapping, and with less or no motion blur. . .but that would take a lot of work, I would imagine, and you've obviously already worked very hard on this. . .and it shows
Fantastic job

I have surfaced once more drawn out by this marvellous piece of art.

Explosions are far better in movement but the blur really makes you think the "camera" has been shaken like crazy by the immense explosion.

Hey Hameed how about some newly created planets rather than destruction its starting to get rather tiresome your work should not be just about destruction.

I think the blurs give it the sense that the planet is being ripped apart at this exact moment, that how it looks to me anyways. Pretty and violent at once, great stuff.

well, sure it looks good... but i think all these guys are exagerating... it's not THAT good.... the planet itself being blurry may be on purpose but if i was doing this i'd just be too lazy to make it look sharper... why don't you do something else, instead of space?
