L.R.V. Forward TV Camera by Hameed L.R.V. Forward TV Camera by Hameed
Forward TV Camera WIP

Still unfinished, working on this one right 'now' as a newer version is rendering as i type this, but its looking good so i thought i would share it.

Mainly, I am still working on the foil texture, in fact i am still deciding if should use cloth to reproduce the effect, my main concern on that is the increased poly count cloth brings.

Oh I get it now..... I was thinking this was meant to be it. A closeup of this camera. I didn't realize it was meant to go on a rover until I checked your gallery lol. I'm sure if you zoomed out you're actually gettting close :D

Sorry for the confusion!

Hehe yeah i think you get the idea now, and as with all the parts i still want it to be more realistic as it is, it will make for a better end product, at least i hope.

You could always do the cloth sim and bake the normals to your lower poly asset... just a thought. Looking good!

I think that with the proper normal map you could probably get away without using a cloth sim. But right now, it's looking pretty flat. In fact, I wasn't sure what I was looking at until I read the description.

The solar panel (?) blue texture looks pretty awesome though!

Thanks for the feedback, I have tried quite a few variations of normal and diffuse maps now, the thing is the camera is actually quite small in the model overall, so you never normally get in close to see the bumps, but like i said i am still working on it...
