awesome for just max, of course, i do understand you still made the planet textures & starfield in photoshop & imported them to max

Very nice lighting setup onto the planets & the flare is great, only objection is the line formed vertically.

OMG, real great, and so bright! as to your question: well, its kinda too bright for wallpaper.. at least it'd be for me.. yet the pic is amazing!

one doesn't get to see many good green scenes, they're kinda tough, but this one really stands out. the lighting and color scheme catch your attentionand the planet is rally superbly done. great job mate, as usual
