Click download for 1600x1200 Layered .PSD Source File of this image.

Not a tutorial, but your welcome to play around with this .PSD of Cosmic Encounter and learn what you can.

The file is pretty basic, being one of my early works, but those that are beginners at space art should hopefully still find this useful.

Thanks for sharing! I definitely want to learn how to make amazing space images like yours! I think you are one of the best at it. If you ever feel like teaching me, I am up for learning it.

Really nice :D Just a question as I want to give space art ago, how do you texture the planet and make it look really realistic? I have tried but fail :(

Very intresting ,as I can see from the preview you work with a tint layer. I started doing so about half a year ago :) Thats very practical ,and seeing it at your stuff it makes me confident that Im on the right way here.

Yep tinting is most useful in colourising areas, although this is one of my earliest works, and here i used it across the whole image, these days i tend to use it alot more but in tiny areas to build colours on to my images.
